Rihanna debuted the red style wayyyy BEFORE this performance; however, for some reason this is when everyone started talking about it therefore, I’ll mark this as the beginning!

I loved this look on her… from head to toe actually. Simple and pretty. Her hair is awesome and the lashes and lip colour really set it off.

A little longer than normal but, still really cute.

This is where it starts getting bad for me. The style is kinda granny-ish.

She looks like a wet puppy here… Too long and raggedy looking.

This is just all bad. The weave looks older than her. Complete FAIL! Then take a look at the roots below… WHAT?!

Dawn Richardson- She is so cute!

Estelle- She is the only one who added little curls and tried to add some volume. She gets an A for effort. She’s pretty too. SN- I just noticed that she looks like Dwight Howard.

Fantasia- I like the little side pieces on Dawn but, on Fantasia not so much. I don’t know why. The hairstyle still looks good on her.

Keri Hilson- This lady is a trip. I read an interview and she clearly talked about how she hated the bowl cut style and wouldn’t wear it. Hmph- I guess she changed her mind. At any rate she looks cute with this. Its wayyyyyy better than the style she had when she first came out. You guys remember… The blonde weave with a black overlay and bowl bang. Ugh!

Mary J. Blige- She was the first person I saw with this style. It looked good on her way back then and it looks equally as good now.

Rihanna- She looks good in anything. Enough said.

Jahmell Daly- a fellow FB friend and hair stylist. She is the only person who isn’t a celebrity who I”ve seen wear this hairstyle the right way. She looks too cute.

No way all her hair could’ve fit in such a small twist bun. But, hey- what was I thinking? Everything else is fake so, why would her hair be any different?!

I think Beyonce’ is a cutie either way but, her weave is the best way to go. She looks amazing with it.

Who knew Cassie would become a trendsetter (if only for a few months)?! I sure didn’t.

I’m going to add Kelis first because, she is the FIRST to have this hairstyle. Some of you might ask why I’m doing all this about Cassie if Kelis was the first. Well, here goes your answer… Its very simple actually- Kelis didn’t make this DOPE. Cassie did. Whenever people comment on my hair they say something about Cassie or Rihanna (idk why Rihanna) never Kelis. I’m aware that she was the FIRST and she is aware that is the FIRST so, we’re good here. Comments Please… Who (if anybody) missed the mark and who NAILED it?!

Cassie is so very boring. I’m know I’m not alone when I say that. Everything about her is kinda BLAH! She is so average. I guess someone told her she’d gain a lot of attention if she chopped half of her hair off. Whomever told her that was right. Before she did that no one cared about anything she did. Lets go from I guess 2006 when she came out until now.

Never in a million years would I have thought Cassie would become a trendsetter. She went from BLAH to BOMBSHELL with a simple haircut.
