Usher has been cast in Hands of Stone to play legendary boxer, Sugar Ray Leonard. The movie will serve as a biopic of Panamanian boxer, Roberto Duran.
“I’m in preparation for a very incredible role,” Usher said. “If you see me in the corners boxing, I’m doing that while working on this album.”
Hands of Stone will also star Robert DeNiro and Gael Garcia. Filming is scheduled to begin later this year. Usher is also getting ready to drop a new album sometime this year.
