Rihanna is currently featured in Esquire UK, but the singer was clearly not happy with the magazine’s choice of questions. After being asked about Chris Brown, Rihanna decided to cut the interview short.
The interviewer basically told Rihanna that a lot of her fans were disappointed in her for going back to Chris Brown. Rihanna, who was clearly angry with the interviewer, reiterated that she and Brown never rekindled their relationship.
“Oh really? Did I?” Rihanna said. “Did I? Did I? Did I? … Okay. In a completely professional environment. And on a complete professional note. I mean, if I went back to him [as a girlfriend], then that’s a whole different discussion … I think a lot of people jumped to an assumption that was incorrect and they ended up looking stupid.”
However, the Esquire writer continued the relentless questioning about Brown, saying it is hard for the public to differentiate Rihanna’s personal life from her professional.
“This is turning into a tacky interview,” Rihanna said. “What do you really want to talk about? I’m not here to [talk] about messy s**t … It upsets me that you keep asking the same kind of questions about stuff that’s trivial. What’s there to talk about? Are all your questions like that?”
