J. Cole announced in a recent interview that he is working on a new album with Kendrick Lamar. Cole said the pair have already laid down a handful of tracks.
“We got maybe four or five [songs] together. I just started working with Kendrick the other day. We finally got it in, finally, again,” J. Cole said. “[It's gonna be an] album, man. We actually worked, bouncing ideas, which was great. The vibe was so good that it’s absolutely gonna happen.”
The project is still in the very early stages, so no other details are available. Hopefully as J. Cole and Kendrick spend some more time in the studio, they’ll give us a few sneak peeks of what we can expect from their new project.
