Beyonce and Kim Kardashian might be getting along just fine on the surface, but Beyonce isn’t so convinced she wants a long-term friendship with the reality star. Kim reportedly bought Blue Ivy a $5k diamond bracelet with the engraving ‘Auntie Kim’ and Beyonce was a bit taken aback.
“They have been friends for five minutes, but already Kim is trying to force herself into Beyoncé’s life,” a source said. “She thought [the gift] was over the top, considering she’s known Kim personally for such a short time.”
The extravagant gift gave Beyonce just one more reason to keep Kim at arm’s length.
“Right now, Beyonce is on her guard. She’s keeping her distance until she feels more trusting of Kim. She believes Kim is trying to buy her friendship through her daughter.”
